Affordable Care Act Enrollment Assistance
Wednesday, November 14 | 5:00pm | Meeting Room 1

Trained representatives from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield will be available to assist people with enrolling in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
What to Bring to Your Appointment:

  • Proof of Lawful Residency (Green Card) or Work Authorization (H1B Visa)
  • Social Security Number
  • Proof of State Residency (Rental Receipt)
  • Proof of Monthly Household Income (pay stubs, unemployment payment stubs, or W-2)
  • Copy of the previous year tax returns
  • If you are currently enrolled in a Health Insurance Plan, please bring the policy information or renewal notice for that plan.

Medication Safety

Medicines are generally safe when used as directed, but there are risks, causing over one million emergency room visits each year. Learning about medication safety can reduce the risk of harm to you and your loved ones.
This program is led by Mary M. Bridgeman, Pharm.D., BCPS, an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University.

How to Be a Super Friend!
Saturday, November 17 | 10:00am | Youth Services Program Room

Come learn about appreciating everyone’s differences and how to be a friend to someone with a disability. Robert Wood Johnson Medical students will read a story, lead activities, and every child will make a craft to bring home! This session is focused on how to be a friend to someone who has Autism Spectrum Disorder. For children in Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades.

Easy Peasy: Quick and Healthy Family Foods
Monday, November 19 | 10:30am | Youth Services Program Room

Laura Vetter, RDN, CDE, CSP, of St. Peter’s University Hospital presents easy and healthy meals and snacks for families. She will also share strategies for making good choices when shopping for pre-packaged snacks. Ms. Vetter is a registered dietician with expertise in pediatric nutrition. Bring your questions! Young children are welcome to attend with you. Healthy refreshments will be served.
